For Limited Edition Master Origin Honduras, we sourced a washed Arabica from Copán, close to the Guatemalan border; the lush green mountains here boast soils high in organic matter—ideal for growing coffee. As favorable as Honduras may be to growing coffee, extreme rainfall makes it challenging to properly dry the coffee. To mitigate this, farmers use solar dryers ensuring a flavorful coffee bean, ready for roasting. Careful processing of these beans, and a medium-dark split roast, ensures the balance of deliciously dark cocoa and sweet cereal notes. As our first coffee sourced from Honduras, this limited edition selection is thoughtful and unique.
